NECHC’s Patti Melanson receives Order of Nova Scotia
NECHC is incredibly proud of our very own Patti Melanson who was awarded the Order of Nova Scotia yesterday. It was Patti’s vision, determination and leadership that made Mobile Street Outreach Health (MOSH) a reality. For most of her career she has been a passionate advocate for people who often live at our community’s margins. Her success at reaching out to vulnerable people with compassion and respect has changed the way Nova Scotia provides care to its most vulnerable citizens.
Patti’s humble, supportive, non-judgemental approach to working with her colleagues and community partners is unmatched. She is admired by many and her work serves as a guidepost and inspiration for those following in her footsteps.
This is the highest honour awarded in our Province, and is well deserved. She has made an exceptional impact on our community and organization as a whole.
Congratulations Patti!
